Spring arrives in Wiltshire

07th May 2013
Sometimes an event or happening can encapsulate the elements of the season upon us, something which I failed to notice during last years appalling weather.

However, traveling along the Vale of Pewsey the other day, I happened upon this sight which for me at least meant Spring had finally arrived.

Hang gliders can often be seen taking advantage of the strong thermals from Tan and Milk Hill, the 2 highest points in Wiltshire, but rarely in such numbers.

Thankfully, after an initial panic of having no camera to hand, remembered the compact tucked away in the glove box.
