Rugby: Guernsey V KCS Old Boys London. London Three South West Division.

10th January 2009
Guernsey 20 KCS Old Boys 16

Hazy sunshine warmed the cold air today, but both teams needed the first half to warm up and get going.

Guernsey took advantage of a penalty just before half-time, but had failed to break through the KCS defence several times prior to that.

The second half saw a lot more urgency in the play of both teams, with Guernsey being the first to break through, scoring a try, and succesfully converting. This seemed to spur KCS into action and they swiftly followed with their own try, but Guernsey stepped up the pressure and were rewarded with a further 2 trys to see a welcome return to winning ways.
