Hundreds of runners took part in the Pewsey Vale Running Club’s Terminator Race 2012 today.

Starting at Pewsey Vale School competitors followed a mainly off-road route, along the Kennet & Avon canal through the tiny hamlet of New Mills, before arriving at the first real challenge "The Wildebeest Leap" some 3 miles into the race.

Some made it look eaiser than others!

Onwards, towards Milton Lilbourne passing Easton Royal saw the halfway stage reached, as runners tried to conserve some energy for the final climb up to the famous Pewsey Vale White Horse, before promptly descending back into Pewsey village, with one last river crossing, providing much needed cooling and relief from the heat, before the final push back to Pewsey Vale School and the finish line.
