CS Rugby 1863 RFC 48 vs Guernsey RFC 49

With the weather more suited to cricket than rugby, newly promoted Guernsey RFC managed to hold on to a 1 point margin over CS Rugby 1863 RFC,placing them 5th in National 3 London & SE division after 3 games.

A strong start from Guernsey had CS Rugby on the back foot by half-time,looking set to take the bonus points, though lack of conversions had meant the margin was not as big as it might of been.

CS Rugby 1863 came out much stronger in the second half, taking advantage of some basic handling errors by Guernsey, coupled with a strong performance in the line-outs, narrowed the margin to 1 point and with 10 minutes to go, another try saw CS Rugby take a 4 point lead briefly before Guernsey came back strongly managing 2 tries in quick succession, which was just enough for victory over CS Rugby, who grabbed 1 last try in the last few seconds before the final whistle.
